"On November 23, 2014, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam participated in the charity fair organized annually in Hanoi. The charity fair is considered one of the most massive events held in Hanoi, and the main purpose of its holding is to spend the funds obtained from the products on sale for charity projects. At the same time, the fair is of great importance in terms of promoting the historical heritage, culture, cuisine, and tourism potential of the participating countries.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Vietnam used the logos of the Baku European Olympic Games in the design of the stand reserved for our country at the fair in order to promote the fact that the first European Olympic Games will be held in Baku in 2015.
At the fair, samples of Azerbaijani cuisine - pilov, chigirtma, firni and qutab were presented to the participants, and a book of Azerbaijani cuisine prepared in Vietnamese was presented and distributed to the participants of the fair. In addition to the above, national souvenirs, carpets, as well as pictures, books, booklets, videos, and other materials related to our country were also displayed.
Bizim Tarla compotes and jams participated in the fair, and representatives of a number of companies were invited to get acquainted with these products through the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce. The products were highly appreciated by the visitors and attracted special attention.
This year the Azerbaijan stand was one of the most visited stands and was met with great interest by the participants as it was last year.
